For my Punk I decided to go kind of simple, I wasn't sure how it would take spray paint, since it was basically stuffed canvas. I sketched out the design on tracing paper (not a computer!), and then cut out some tape masks to spray paint. Looking forward to seeing everyone else's.

PS- I named mine after the clown from the "Garfield and Friends" cartoon.

Shaman Punk
Here's what I came up with for this years Clowntastrophe. I figured when there were really circus punks at circuses people would want to knock down things they were afraid up like freaks and things they thought were evil. Originally I wanted this to sort of look like a Polynesian cannibal but in the end wound up looking like a magic man from India, so either way it works for me. I made him blind so he can easily see into the spirit world, and adorned him up with turkey feathers and other things lying around the house. painted with acrylic. See you at the show!

I, Pagliacci
it's been an honor and a blast to have gotten to participate on this awesome event; thanks Paul!
while i wanted my circus punk to be cartoonish and fun, i definitely wanted to show the correlation life has with laughter (the fire in his throat) and death (his balloon animal), and how they all work to make life even more of a blast
feel free to click on these jpegs for huger views. i wish i could attend the event this year, but i'm real glad to get to be a part of this with all of you. have fun!
